Birthday Parties (Ages 2 & up)
Birthday boys and girls can enjoy an exciting time of gymnastics fun
along with 12 of his/her friends. The birthday party celebration
will continue in our separate area where your child can enjoy cake,
refreshments and gift opening. An exciting experience your child
will remember for a lifetime. Parties may be scheduled through the
gym office.

Home School Classes (Ages 5-13)
Need a weekly physical education activity for your home school
child or group?
Spivey’s Gymnastics offers a weekly class which will focus on
gymnastics along with strength, flexibility, games, and team
building. A wonderful opportunity for your home school child to bond
with and make new friends in a fun-filled and structured athletic
environment.

Parents Night Out (Ages 5-14)
Parents are you in need of a special evening without the kids?
Let Spivey’s Gymnastics be your babysitter for the evening. While
your are enjoying your evening out, your kids will have a great time
beginning with pizza and juice, gymnastics, games and end with a
movie. Parents Night Out is typically held the third Friday of each
month from 6:30-10:00pm. Check with the office for the next
scheduled Parents Night Out.

Open Gym (Ages 3 & up)
Spivey’s Open Gym allows preschoolers and school-age children to
explore the gym, work on certain skills and have a blast. Open Gym
will also serve as a make up session when a class is missed. For the
safety of all of the children, Preschool Open Gym will ONLY
be for preschool age children and School Age Open Gym will ONLY
be for school age children. There will be NO exceptions to
this policy.

Private Lessons (Ages 3 & up)
Is your athlete in need of a little extra attention on a certain
skill or maybe some fine tuning to existing skills? Spivey’s offers
30 minutes and 1 hour private lessons. Contact the office for
additional information.
Tumbling and Trampoline (Ages 6 & up)
Tumbling and trampoline classes will emphasize the necessary
building blocks needed in order to understand and perform tumbling
skills.

Beginner tumbling classes are for the athletes with no previous
tumbling skills. This class will work on handstands, cartwheels, up
through spotted backhandsprings. Advanced tumbling classes begin to
work on tumbling series, such as round off backhandsprings and on to
more advanced tumbling sequences. Instructor recommendation and/or
skill evaluation is required for placement in the advanced tumbling
classes.
Baby Stars (Ages 12 months- 23 months)
Parents and children delight in the joy of exploration and motor
development. This program will concentrate on building that
important and special relationship between parent and child. Help
your “Baby Star” go where no toddler has gone before.

Tiny Stars (Age 2)
Gymnastics for the developing toddler with parents assisting in
continued motor development. Your child may roll down a padded
incline, swing on a tiny bar, walk down a small balance beam, bounce
over to the tumble trak and on to the ever popular “pit.”

Tumble Stars (Ages 3 & 4)
Our “Tumble Stars” professionally structured program is
gymnastics movement education designed to develop motor and social
skills. This program will give each child a variety of activities
that will help enhance his/her physical abilities and coordination
as well as learn valuable social skills such as sharing, taking
turns and cooperation. A great asset for children looking ahead to
kindergarten.

Shining Stars (Ages 3 & 4)
For the advanced toddler by instructor recommendation and skill
assessment. “Shining Stars” is a stepping stone to our PreTeam
program.
Boys and Girls Gymnastics (Ages 5 & up)
Spivey’s Gymnastics instruction is divided into Beginner,
Intermediate and Advanced levels with increasing difficulty and
length of class at each level. Classes will focus on strength,
fitness, coordination and confidence which are enhanced as students
acquire gymnastics skills using Olympic apparatus and tumble trak.
Classes are defined by age and sub-divided into logical, homogenous
training groups. Movement through the program is based on ongoing
evaluation by the instructor and will occur as soon as the gymnast
demonstrates the necessary skills at their level.

Every child will benefit in this non-competitive program of
progressive skills, conditioning and flexibility. It’s great
exercise for school-aged kids and loads of fun too!
PreTeam Progressive Program
By the coaches recommendation and skill assessment, this program
prepares each gymnast for a competitive team. The curriculum used is
based on the USA Gymnastics Developmental System.
Competitive Teams
Team membership is by invitation only. Gymnasts must have acquired
the necessary skills for the Spivey’s Competitive Program. Female
gymnasts will train skills developed by the USA Gymnastics Program
while competing in all competitions emphasizing the USA Gymnastics
Optional Program in order to allow each athlete more individual
achievement and creativity.
